Prabowo Formulates 5 Economic Programs That Must Be Free For The Community

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto formulated five economic programs that must be affordable, even free for the people, namely health programs, education, housing, basic necessities, and loans for businesses.

"These various programs are made so that wong cilik, many people can smile and laugh. They are no longer too hard to live their lives, especially due to the three years of the COVID-19 pandemic," Prabowo said in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, July 1.

According to him, the five economic programs are in line with the spirit of President Jokowi's program through various cards, such as the Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) and the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP).

In the future, Prabowo stated that he would soon formulate other economic programs to optimize Indonesia's economic revival faster.

Previously, on Sunday (25/6) in front of thousands of Gerindra cadres, Prabowo conveyed part of his views regarding the five economic programs.

He also cited projections from the world's major auditor service provider which stated that Indonesia would become the fourth largest country in the world economically by 2050. At that time, other countries above Indonesia were China, India, and the United States.

However, Prabowo said, the state is only strong if the people's economy is also strengthened. According to him, no country can really be strong if the majority of its people cannot reach education, health, housing, or loan funds for business.

Meanwhile, regarding education, he said that all children in Indonesia must get access to education well and their parents do not need to worry about thinking about their children's schools.

"Our children, every boy and every woman can sleep at night well, not worried about what will happen tomorrow," he said.

Prabowo also said that he would soon gather the nation's best economists to make scientific works related to the five programs so that they could immediately be used to revive the economy of the Indonesian people.
