The Rise Of TIP Cases In Indonesia, From Aceh To Papua

JAKARTA - Cases of Trafficking in Persons or TIPs are rife in Indonesia. It is proven that there have been a number of disclosures made by the National Police in Aceh to West Papua.

Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said the Task Force formed by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, had received 472 police reports (LP) related to TIP. A total of 552 people were named suspects and 1,596 victims were rescued.
