JAKARTA - Two PSI cadres who serve as members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD are rumored to be leaving their party. Both are the chairman of the PSI faction Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo and a member of the PSI faction, Idris Ahmad.
Chairman of the PSI Regional Leadership Council (DPW) Elva Farhi Qolbina did not refute the news. Elva admitted that the DKI PSI management was following up by asking for clarification on the person concerned.
As a result, Anggara has told PSI DKI that he will not continue to be a candidate for legislative member of the DKI DPRD in 2024.

In this regard, Elva said that the DKI PSI DPW was evaluating the positions of its faction members in the DKI DPRD, including Anggara, who now also serves as Deputy Chairman of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
"We are currently evaluating so that party political work carried out by members of the PSI Jakarta faction in the DPRD can continue to run well," he explained.
Previously, Elva said that only five of the seven members of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD had returned to running as candidates for PSI in the 2024 DKI DPRD Legislative Election. The two members who will not be PSI candidates in 2024 will be Anggara and Idris.
