TANGERANG Egi Hardiansyah (25) became a victim of persecution by Sugi Mukti on Jalan Boulevard UPJ Raya, Ciputat, South Tangerang City, Monday, June 12, at 15.10 WIB. As a result, Egi's neck was seriously injured by being stabbed with scissors by Sugi. Luckily Egi's life was saved.

East Ciputat Police Chief, Kompol Agung Nugroho confirmed the incident. The incident happened

"It's true, there was a dispute in front of UPJ Lake which resulted in one of the men suffering a stab wound to the neck," Agung said when confirmed, Monday, June 12.

Agung said, the incident began with a dispute between the victim and the perpetrator. Suddenly SM stabbed his paper scissors at the victim's neck.

"Witnesses assisted by other residents took the victim to the hospital (Tangsel Hospital) to be given help. Meanwhile, the perpetrator fled," he said.

The police who received information immediately conducted an investigation and went to the victim who was in the hospital to find out the identity of the alleged perpetrator.

"Furthermore, they gave chase and succeeded in arresting the perpetrators in the Jombang area of South Tangerang," he said.

The perpetrator has been taken to the East Ciputat Police for examination. However, the officer said that the motive for this case had not been disclosed.

"The perpetrator and the evidence were secured to the East Ciputat Police Headquarters for further processing," he concluded.
