The Sector Of Natural Resources To Politics Is Considered By The KPK To Be Vulnerable To Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that several sectors, such as natural resources to commerce, are still vulnerable to corrupt practices. Therefore, the KPK has more attention to prevent corrupt practices.

"In its work priorities, the KPK has compiled priority scales in the natural resources, politics, law, public services, and commerce sectors," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, quoted Monday, June 12.

Ali said that corruption in the sector made the state lose a lot of money. As a result, people will also bear it.

"Therefore, the KPK will continue to focus on the work of eradicating corruption," he said.

The KPK is ready to work according to the roadmap that has been compiled until 2045. One of them is to build an anti-corruption attitude in all lines.

This step will be taken by all KPK leaders together with other policy makers and the community. "To make Indonesia a developed country, one of the prerequisites is of course the development of an anti-corruption culture in itself and the community," said Ali.

"Both in the government environment, politics, education, commerce, to social activities," he concluded.
