JAKARTA - German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that he offered Indonesia to hold joint military exercises when they sent warships to the Indo-Pacific region in 2024.

Defense Minister Pistorius made the offer during an official visit with Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta, Monday, June 5.

"I have announced that next year we will send a frigate to the Indo-Pacific, earlier I also offered the possibility of joint training with the Indonesian Navy, which he has approved," Pistorius said in a press statement with Defense Minister Prabowo after the meeting. reported by ANTARA.
