ASEAN 2023 Summit In Labuan Bajo, PLN Deploys 580 Personnel

PT PLN (Persero) has alerted 580 personnel to maintain the reliability of the electricity system in the implementation of the 42nd ASEAN/ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"We deployed 580 officers, we are in the field and built system controls for real-time monitoring," said PT PLN (Persero) President Director Darmawan Prasodjo at the PLN Electricity Alert Call for the 42nd ASEAN Summit at the Rangko Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG), Tanjung Bunga Village, Boleng, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, Sunday 7 May, confiscated by Antara.

The series of ASEAN's 42nd Summit is scheduled to take place from May 8 to May 11, 2023 at several location points. To make this international activity a success, PLN guarantees the electricity system in Labuan Bajo by deploying standby personnel.

A total of 580 personnel are a combination of the NTT region and Under Operations Personnel (BKO). These personnel are also divided into three parts, namely generation and transmission, distribution and ICON Plus.

At the PLN Electricity Alert Ceremony for the 42nd ASEAN Summit, Darmawan asked personnel to maintain loyalty and discipline in working during the ASEAN 42nd Summit.

They were also reminded to build communication and coordination. If there is a disturbance, he advised the personnel to be alert in handling it.

"We continue to work 24 hours, continue to guard from substations, power plants, transmissions, venues, UPS. If there is any disturbance, immediately correct it," he said.

PLN has prepared to secure the electricity system at 16 location points within the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.

Security points at 16 points are divided into two criteria, namely three-tier security criteria and two-tier security criteria.
