SIDOARJO - The Sidoarjo Regency Government, East Java, has budgeted Rp11.5 billion for use in a concrete project on the Krembung-Ngoro road with a length of about 2.2 kilometers connecting Sidoarjo Regency with Mojokerto Regency.

Sidoarjo Regent Ahmad Muhdlor said this year there was also concreteization on the Porong-Krembung road.

"The two roads in Sidoarjo are starting at the latest in July this year," he said on the sidelines of the road inspection which will be concreted, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.

He saw that many road points had potholes and clumpy damage caused by many vehicles exceeding the tonnage.

"In the past, because (the Japanese team) was closed, friends who wanted to go to Ngoro were reluctant to make a U-turn to the Apollo roundabout, so they took a shortcut via Krembung through Porong, so this road was often damaged," he said.

For concreteization on the Porong-Krembung road, use the APBN budget based on the submission or proposal from the Sidoarjo Regency Government through the Presidential Instruction worth IDR 119 billion.

"The length of the road that has been concreted is 6.4 kilometers," he said.

Muhdlor said that the acceleration of road infrastructure improvement was a collaboration between the Sidoarjo Regency Government and the central government.

He explained that later the flow of vehicles that usually pass PG Krembung road will be diverted to Porong Street to Japan.

His party has obtained permission from the Center for the Implementation of National Roads/BBPJN and the Dirlantas Polda East Java to open the Japanan T-junction as access to vehicles going to Ngoro.

"The plan is that on May 22, the Japanese T-junction will reopen," he said.
