Deputy Chairperson Of The MPR Syarief Hasan Becomes A Witness In The Trial Of Alleged Fictitious Fund Corruption At The Bandung Corruption Court

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Syarief Hasan, will testify at the trial of alleged corruption in the distribution of fictitious revolving funds by cooperatives, micro, small and medium enterprises (LPDB-KUMKM) today, Friday, April 28. The trial was held at the Corruption Court at the Bandung District Court. "The KPK Prosecutor's Team presented witness Syarief Hasan," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, April 28. Ali said Syarief would testify to prove the actions of the Director of LPDB-KUMKM for the period 2010-2017 Kemas Danial. He was presented in his capacity as Minister of Cooperatives. "The information we have obtained is that witnesses have been present at the Bandung Corruption Court and will provide testimony as witnesses in the intended trial," he said. Syarief was questioned by the anti-corruption commission some time ago in this case. He was questioned regarding the distribution of funds to LPDB-KUMKM which was eventually corrupted. In this case, the KPK named four suspects in the case, namely the Director of LPDP KUMKM Kemas Danial, the Supervisor of the West Java Street Vendors Cooperative Panca Bhakti (Kopanti) Dodi Kurniadi, West Java Kopanti II Secretary Deden Wahyudi, and Director of PT Pancampulti Niagapratama (PN) Stevanus Kusnadi (SK). The KPK suspects that Kemas received Rp13.8 billion in cash and a fried chicken kiosk at BTP Mall from Stevanus. Meanwhile, Deden and Dodi are believed to have been given a house and car from Kopanti West Java for collusion.
