Cirebon City Police Arrest 8 Youth Motorcycle Gangs During Convoy

CIREBON - Cirebon City Resort Police (Polres), West Java, arrested eight youths suspected of being members of a motorcycle gang who were carrying out convoys on the streets. They were immediately taken to the Cirebon City Police Headquarters for further investigation. "We have secured eight people, they use four motorbikes," said Cirebon City Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Perida Aprianiwas Panjaitan in Cirebon, Antara, Friday, April 21. Perida said the eight youths arrested yesterday had the initials BG (19), CA (19), SN (18), FR (17), DI (17), RI (16), KM (20), and RA (18). They are residents of Cirebon City and Regency. According to him, the eight people are suspected of being members of a motorcycle gang from Cirebon City and Regency. They were secured during a convoy on the highway. He explained that the motorcycle gang members had agreed to carry out a convoy on the highway with the attributes of each group. "However, because this is troubling the residents, our members immediately dispersed and secured eight people," he said. After examining the eight teenagers, officers found a plastic bag containing 10 ampoules of cardboard powder. They were immediately taken to the Cirebon City Police Headquarters for further questioning. "From the hands of the eight people who were arrested, a plastic bag containing 10 ampoules of cardboard powder was found," he said.

The arrest of eight teenage motorcycle gang members is to ensure that the jurisdiction of the Cirebon City Police during the Eid 2023 celebration runs safely and conducive without any motorized gang disturbances.
