Police Arrest 5 Perpetrators Suspected Of Beating Debt Collector In Serpong, One Video Recorder

TANGERANG - Police have arrested five perpetrators who are suspected of beating debt collectors or debt collectors in Rawa Buntu, Serpong, South Tangerang, Wednesday, April 6. It is known, one of them is a video recorder.

"Regarding the case of the beating that occurred in Rawa Buntu, we have secured it within 1x24 hours 5 of the perpetrators that we have secured at the South Tangerang Police Headquarters," said South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Aldo Primananda to reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Friday, April 7.

Aldo revealed that each actor has their respective roles in beating the debt collector. This was done to smooth out the beating.

"We have also secured one of those who recorded it because it was incited," he said.

On his occasion, Aldo explained the chronology of the beating. Starting from the victim who approached the car driver in Rawa Buntu, South Tangerang. Because he did not accept that his car wanted to be taken, then the perpetrator shouted at the victim as a thief.

"The thief shouted, then came people around him and was judged by the masses so that the victim became a victim," he said.

Due to this incident, the victim was injured. However, the victim only underwent road treatment.

"The condition of the victim is stable, the information is that he has been outpatient," he said.

Most recently, the 5 perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions. They will be charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code.
