Noisy With Parents, 30-Year-Old Man Desperately Jumps From 5th Floor Of Atrium Senen Mall

JAKARTA - A young man with the initials E (30) was desperate to end his life by jumping from the 5th floor of the Atrium Senen Mall, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 5.

As a result of the incident, the victim was still alive and suffered several injuries. Furthermore, the victim was taken to the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital for treatment.

Senen Police Chief Kompol David Purba said, from the results of the examination of the mall security, the victim jumped from the 5th floor after a commotion with his family.

"Information from security, from above there was a fuss with the parents (victims). Then he (victim) jumped himself allegedly to commit suicide. Jumped from the 5th floor of the Atrium Senen mall," said Commissioner David when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, April 5.

Hingga berita ini ditulis, korban masih hidup dan menjalani perawatan medis di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Polsek Senen juga belum melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap para saksi terkait kejadian itu.

"No witnesses have yet been examined, then security wants to be summoned. The problem is that the parents (victims) did not want to provide information, maybe still sad. The victim had the initials E, aged around 30 years," he said.

Meanwhile, the Senen Police are still being handled to investigate further.
