Firefighters Save Doglets From The Edge Of The River After Courier Reports Between Packages

JAKARTA - A wild dog was successfully evacuated by officers from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept.

The stray dog was evacuated from the banks of the East Flood Canal (KBT) on Rawabek 88 Street, RT 05/01, Pulogebang Village, Cakung, East Jakarta.

"We evacuated the illegal dog objects after there were reports from the public from the outskirts of the BKT or KBT," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Wednesday, April 5.

The report was given when the reporter who was a courier delivering the package saw a dog being abandoned on the edge of the river.

"While delivering the package past the BKT, the complainant saw a dog on the side of the BKT trying to climb but couldn't. Because it was a pity to immediately contact the fire department at the complaint number," he said.

The process of evacuating the wild animals was carried out by 4 rescue personnel. After being successfully evacuated, the dogs were then secured and will be handed over to animal lovers.
