JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) asked the public to be aware of the potential for tidal flooding (rob) during the 2023 Eid holiday in several coastal areas in Indonesia.

"To anticipate this, we have started coordinating especially to mitigate extreme weather, namely with BNPB, Ministry of Transportation, BRIN, and Ministry of PUPR," she said.

Dwikorita said that her party would continue to intensify outreach about the early warning in coordination with the local government, BPBD, Basarnas, and other related parties.

Meanwhile, for flights, Dwikorita said the forecast for potential convective cloud cover for flights that needs to be watched out for in April is the condition of cumulonimbus clouds in the Andaman Sea region of the Indian Ocean west of Sumatra to the south, Java Island, Natuna Sea, Java Sea, Makassar Strait, and the north coast of Papua.
