TANGERANG - Tangerang City Metro Police maintain order by conducting raids on dimly lit stalls in Lake Situ Bukakan, Periuk, Tangerang City. As a result, three women were arrested.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the three were DS, ET and RY. They were arrested for allegedly selling liquor (alcohol) during the holy month of Ramadan.

"Joint officers raided the control of stalls and sold liquor in Situ Bulakan. We have secured three women from stalls that are still open," said Zain in his statement.

The three women were taken to the Pinang Police for further action.

"These three women were brought to the Sector Police for guidance so they don't open the holy month of Ramadan," he said.

Zain revealed that the activities carried out on Friday, March 31 evening involved TNI personnel. He also ensured that until now, the situation and condition of his area were monitored conducive.

"For coaching, so as not to open the holy month of Ramadan," he said.
