Ahead Of Sahur, A Student In Bima Consumption Of Drugs With Her Male Friend At The Boarding House

BIMA - A student with the initials AHM was arrested by the Bima City Police, West Nusa Tenggara, while consuming methamphetamine-type drugs in her boarding house. The police also arrested a man in the same room.

Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Bima City Police, Adjunct Commissioner Tamrin, said the ambush took place on Saturday, April 1 in the morning.

"Both of them were ambushed while taking drugs in the student's boarding house," said Tamrin.

The ambush under the control of the Head of the Alpha Cobra Team, Aipda Fahriamin, took place at around 00.30 WITA, in Santi Village, Mpunda District, Bima City.

From the results of the ambush, continued Tamrin, officers confiscated evidence. In addition to the shabu-shabu consumption equipment, the police found two packages of plastic clips containing white crystalline powder tucked in a wallet and cell phone battery charging device in AHM boarding room.

From the confession of the male colleague of the student with the initials P, the police received additional information that there were still items stored in his house in Woha area, Bima Regency.

"After getting a confession from P, the Alpha Cobra Team immediately expanded to Woha and found 12 packages of methamphetamine ready for distribution at P's house," he said, as quoted by Antara, Saturday.

Currently, the two perpetrators and evidence are secured by the Bima City Police. There are allegations that P is a supplier of goods for AHM students.

Regarding the origin of the goods in P, Tamrin assured that this was included in the development of the investigation.

"So, we are still securing both of them in the examination process. Where did this P come from, we are still investigating," he said.

From the interim examination, the gross weight of 14 packages of methamphetamine ready for distribution reached 11.32 grams with a selling value of around Rp. 20 million from the assumption of a price per gram of Rp. 1.8 million.

"For urine testing, it is known that both test results are positive for methamphetamine," he said.

With the suspicion that both of them were involved in drug trafficking in the Bima City area, Tamrin assured that the handling of this case refers to the suspicion of Article 112 paragraph (2) and/or Article 114 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
