Minibus Hits Residents' Houses In West Aceh, Police Intervene To Conduct Investigation

ACEH - Police officers from the Traffic Unit of the West Aceh Police, Aceh Province investigated the case of a Toyota Avanza minibus, police number BL 1496 V, which crashed into a resident's house in the Cot Village area, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency. "There were two minibus passengers who were injured in this incident," said Head of the West Aceh Police Traffic Unit, Iptu M Berny in Meulaboh, Antara, Wednesday, March 29. In this incident, a resident's house belonging to Razali Daud, a resident of Cot, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency, was badly damaged by being hit by a minibus. Iptu M Benny explained that the accident occurred on Wednesday morning at around 02.15 WIB on the Aceh Jaya - West Aceh highway, precisely in Cot Village, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency. The minibus driven by Mijal Alfiandera, a resident of Kuta Trieng Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province, departed from Banda Aceh City to Nagan Raya Regency with five passengers consisting of Liya Susanti, Rasi Dahra, Junaidi, Phonnie and Puput. Arriving at Cot Village, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency with rainy weather conditions, the minibus driver allegedly fell asleep so he lost control and swerved to the right, causing him to hit a resident's house and a wire fence. There were also the identities of injured passengers including Mijal Alfiandera (21 years), a student was registered as a resident of Kuta Trieng Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh suffered abrasions on his left hand and right ear. Then the victim Liya Susanti (28), a resident of Kuta Trieng Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, suffered serious injuries, namely lacerations to the head, bleeding from the nose and abrasions to the knee of his right leg. Then Rasi Dahra (55), a housewife from Kuta Trieng Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, suffered abrasions on her right hand. Meanwhile, the passengers who did not suffer any injuries were Junaidi (40), Phonnie (52) a housewife, and Puput (15) all residents of Kuta Trieng Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh. " “ Meanwhile, the owner of the building that was damaged by this single accident suffered a material loss of around Rp. 50 million," said Iptu M Benny added. Currently, the single accident case is under investigation by police officers from the West Aceh Police Traffic Unit, and injured passengers have received medical treatment.
