Head of Public Relations of the Cilacap Police, Iptu Gatot Tri Hartanto, said the incident took place last Monday, March 13 at around 21.00 WIB, at Taman Marlin, Jalan Sutomo, Sidakaya Village, South Cilacap District.
"BGR at that time asked the victim to meet, then told the victim not to accept him because he had brought his ex-fianc. Then suddenly BGR hit until the victim fell," said Gatot in a written statement, Sunday night, March 26.
The victim's friend, who at that time intended to intervene, was also hit. As a result of this incident, the victim suffered bruises on the eye, then reported the incident to the Cilacap Police.
Gatot said the suspect was arrested after following up on the victim's report.
"The motive for the persecution was jealousy." he said.
