JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta will resume operating. 9 bus rapid transit (BRT) stops or in corridors that had been closed and replaced with temporary stops due to the construction of the Jabodebek LRT.

Plt. Transjakarta President Director Mohamad Indrayana said these stops would later be integrated with Jabodebek LRT station.

This is stated in the operational report of the BRT bus stop infrastructure integrated with the Jabodebek train station or LRT between Mohamad Indrayana and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the Development of Urban Transportation Infrastructure/Urban Transport of the Ministry of Transportation Ferdian Suryo Adhi Pramono.

"This signing is an effort to improve services to Transjakarta customers because there are 9 Transjakarta BRT bus stops that will be operated after being affected by the construction of the Jabodebek LRT project," said Indrayana in her statement, Friday, March 24.

The integrated Transjakarta BRT stops that will be operated include the Ministry of Health bus stop (with Kuningan LRT Station), the GOR Soemantri stop (with Rasuna Said Station), the North Setiabudi bus stop (with Setia Budi Station), the BNN stop (with Cawang Station), and the Dukuh Atas 2 stop (with Dukuh Atas Station).

Then, non-integrable Transjakarta stops that will also be operated include the Kuningan Timur bus stop, Patra Kuningan bus stop, Karet Kuningan stop, and the Kuningan Madya stop.

In addition to operating affected bus stops, access to the Cikoko Cikoko Crossing Bridge at Cawang Station will be opened.

"The Jabodebek LRT supports the integration between modes between the Jabodebek LRT and Transjakarta buses so that users of public transportation can easily move between modes of transportation," he explained.

Previously, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi emphasized that the integration of urban mass transportation must run well between the central and regional governments.

He conveyed this when he visited one of the Jabodebek LRT stations which became an integration point, namely Halim Station, together with DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono.

"Mr. President emphasized that Indonesia must increase the capabilities of urban mass transportation and mass intercity transportation. And what is proud is that the Jabodebek LRT is more than 50 percent of its domestic component level (TKDN)," said Budi.

In addition to intermodal integration, the DKI Provincial Government is also speeding up the physical construction of the Halim Station entrance on Jalan DI Panjaitan.

"The governor has given many notes on how to provide services to make it easier for people who will enter. God willing, this year we can use the Jabodebek LRT from Bekasi, around Bogor, to Dukuh Atas. And especially, Halim is a train conference point from Dukuh Atas and Bekasi for those who are going to Bandung," added Budi.
