JAKARTA - A middle-aged man was desperate to end his life by hanging himself on Jalan Gang Damai, No. 3A, West Cempaka Putih, RT 11/01, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 24, noon. The man whose identity was unknown committed suicide on the second day of fasting.

The Head of the Cempaka Putih Police, Kompol Bernard Saragih, confirmed the incident of one of his residents who died as a result of hanging himself.

"Yes, someone hanged himself. I'm still making a report," said Kompol Bernard to VOI, Friday, March 24.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cempaka Putih Police is still investigating and processing the crime scene (TKP) at the scene. The police are also still gathering witnesses related to the incident.

"The crime scene is still being processed at the scene," he said.

The victim was observed dead with his neck entangled with a rope linked to the wood. The middle-aged man was found dead wearing shorts in a box motif and polo shirt.

The identity of the victim is not yet known. However, the victim has a thin body feature.

Meanwhile, beside the victim's body, there was still a bench that was allegedly used as a tool to tie the victim's neck into a rope circle.
