No Family Visit For KPK Prisoners On The First Day Of Fasting

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that prisoners did not get the opportunity to visit their families on the first day of fasting today, Thursday, March 23. The reason is that this moment coincides with collective leave.

"The visit on the first day of fasting this year coincides with collective leave so there are no visits," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, March 23.

Ali said the detainees of the KPK Detention Center Pomdam Jaya Guntur Branch and Building C1 during Ramadan, can be visited every Thursday at 10.00-12.00 WIB for the first session. Then the second session runs at 12.30 WIB-14.30 WIB.

However, because of the leave with detainees in the two detention centers, they can be visited on Friday, March 24. "His rights were changed (received a visit, ed," he said.

Meanwhile, suspects detained at the KPK Rutan, Red and White Building Branch, can be visited every Monday. On that day the suspects at the KPK Detention Center were also allowed to receive food shipments.

Ali said the schedule for food delivery by the family was carried out on Monday and Wednesday starting at 12.30 WIB-14.30 WIB and Friday at 13.00 WIB-15.00 WIB.

All who visit are advised to obey the rules. Ali reminded that the visit schedule only applies to families and lawyers who have received permission.
