BANDUNG - Cimol Gedebage Market located in the Gedebage Main Market area, Bandung City, West Java, which mostly sells imported clothing or temporary closures. Chairman of the Cimol Gedebage Market Association Rusdianto, said the closure had been carried out since Tuesday, March 21.

According to him, the closure was an initiative from traders regarding the government's ban on the trade activities of imported clothing.

"If we close it temporarily first, when will it be opened, we don't know yet. Just look at the conditions in the future," said Rusdianto at Cimol Gedebage Market, Bandung, Antara, March 22.

He said that from the closure, there were around 1,100 traders who were affected. Because, he said, kiosks selling Thrifting clothes or those that were not, were also temporarily closed.

"Here, it's also not just used clothes, but someone is selling new clothes, new bags, new shoes, the kiosk is also closed," he said again.

In addition, according to him, the closure was also the result of the absence of supplies of Thrifting goods to traders at the Cimol Gedebage Market.

Even though the closure was an initiative of traders, he also hopes that the government will pay attention to the fate of traders who have lost their livelihoods due to the ban on selling these Thrifting clothes.

"If we don't sell for a day, we can't eat. We sell this, we don't look for 'wah' income, the important thing is that we can just prolong life," he said again.

Currently, the gate of the Cimol Gedebage Market is closed by local security officers. In addition, security officers also conducted socialization to people who wanted to visit regarding the closure of temporary trading activities in the market.
