JAKARTA - Erick Thohir appeared in the top position after Prabowo Subianto as the minister with the best performance in the Indo Barometer survey. Indo Barometer recorded 12.4 percent of the total respondents chose Prabowo Subianto and 9.0 percent of respondents chose Erick Thohir, in the first and second positions.

Erick Thohir became the highest choice for the public with 22.9 percent, followed by Khofifah Indar Parawansa (15.8 percent), Muhaimin Iskandar (6.7 percent), Puan Maharani (6.3 percent) and Chairul Tanjung (2.7 percent).

Executive Director of Indo Barometer Muhammad Qodari stated that Erick Thohir's name appeared as the highest vice presidential candidate for several reasons.

"One of the reasons that seem to stand out from the survey results is the assessment of Erick Thohir as one of the ministers with the best performance according to the public," said Qodari, in his statement, Tuesday, March 21.

Indo Barometer conducted a survey with the title Election 2024: Constellation, Determinant Variables and Winners. Respondents of this survey are Indonesian citizens who already have the right to vote, namely residents aged 17 years or older, or have been married when the survey was conducted.
