YOGYAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Regional Police arrested a female mutilator with the initials A (34) whose victim body was found at an inn in Purwodadi Hamlet, Pakembinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Sunday, March 19 evening.

"He was arrested this afternoon. I just got the information," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Police, Kombes Nuredy Irwansyah Putra, when met after the "Chat with the DIY Police Chief with the media" in Sleman, Antara, Tuesday, March 21.

Nuredy revealed that the 23-year-old suspect was arrested at the residence of one of his relatives in the Temanggung area, Central Java.

The suspect lives in a boarding house in Ngeplak District, Sleman, and works for a tent provider in Yogyakarta.

"The person concerned lives in a hostel provided by a company engaged in the service sector," he said.

He also could not reveal the relationship between the suspect and the victim.

Previously, the body of a woman was found mutilated in the room of an inn in Purwodadi Hamlet, Pakembinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Sunday (19/3) evening. The woman's body is known to have the initials A (34), a resident of Yogyakarta City.

Nuredy explained that based on the results of the preliminary autopsy at the Bhayangkara Polda DIY Hospital, the woman's corpse was cut into three major parts, namely the body and two legs. Also found 62 small pieces of body parts, some of which show parts of the bone.

Still from the results of the autopsy, the victim's body also showed a wound on the neck which was suspected to be the cause of death. The wound is 20 centimeters long, 4 centimeters wide, and 9 centimeters deep.

"Which resulted in bleeding which later the victim died," explained Nuredy.
