Budgeted IDR 2.9 Billion This Year, DKI Provincial Government Calls Rehabilitation Of Heru Budi's Official House Postponed Due To The Pandemic

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government explained the plan to rehabilitate the official residence of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, which is budgeted at IDR 2.9 billion in the APBD this year. Head of the General Bureau and Regional Secretariat Administration of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat, Sugih Ilman, explained that the rehabilitation of the DKI Governor's official residence was actually planned several years ago. Initially, the plan to repair the official residence of the Governor of DKI was proposed by the Department of Human Settlements, Spatial Planning and Land (DCKTRP) since 2018. At that time, Anies Baswedan was still the Governor of DKI. "The General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of DKI Jakarta conducted a review and reported that in 2019 there was damage that required a thorough repair, so that a budget plan was prepared for the 2020 fiscal year," said Sugih in his statement, Tuesday, March 21. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020. Many development budget allocations have been refocused or experienced diversions to tackle the pandemic. The budget for the rehabilitation of official houses is among those affected by the delay in its implementation. "In 2020, it has been budgeted for in the DCKTRP budget implementation document (DPA) and the planning CONSULTANT has been contracted with a direct procurement mechanism. The planning consultant has carried out a review and is paid for one term. However, physical activities are not implemented, due to budget refocusing due to COVID-19,” said Sugih. When the pandemic subsided and the economy began to recover, in September 2022, the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of DKI Jakarta again submitted a plan to rehabilitate the official residence that has been used by the Batavia Mayor's Office House since 1916. Furthermore, DCKTRP again proposed a budget for the rehabilitation of the governor's official residence in DPA in 2023 for planning consultants and supervisory consultants as well as rehabilitation construction activities. "The scope of construction activities for the rehabilitation of the governor's official residence includes preparation and preliminary work for architectural work that includes wall, ceiling, and roof repairs for main buildings, as well as guard post construction work," he explained. As is known, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government plans to rehabilitate the official residence of the Governor of DKI Jakarta with a budget of IDR 2.9 billion through the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year. The rehabilitation work for the official residence of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, is contained in the Information System website of the General Plan for the Procurement of Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institutions (LKPP Sirup). The procurement of official houses that are included in the type B cultural heritage in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta is included in the budget allocation of the Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Offices. The method of selecting the rehabilitation of official houses is in the form of tenders. The DKI Provincial Government invites domestic products from small businesses or MSMEs to participate in the construction tender process. The DKI Provincial Government has scheduled the selection of construction providers for the rehabilitation of Heru's official residence to be carried out from July to August 2023 and continued in the contract implementation from September to December 2023. Meanwhile, the use of goods/services for procurement will be carried out in December 2023.
