Private Office In Tanjung Priok Broken Into Two Thieves, Police Carry Out Ambush

Police officers managed to thwart the theft at a private company on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The efforts of the perpetrators to break into the office fence can be known by local residents, then reported by police officers.

The Head of the Tanjung Priok Police, Kompol Nazirwan, explained that the perpetrator had tried to enter the house that was used as an office for the second time. The perpetrator's first action succeeded in bringing a number of valuables.

However, Nazirwan continued, the perpetrator's efforts for the second time could be known so that the police officers who received the report immediately rushed to the location to make arrests.

"Following the perpetrator's movements, until when the target was to steal back at PT Graha Pull, and has succeeded in breaking the fence lock, the opsnal members made the arrest," Nazirwan explained in his statement, Tuesday, March 21.

During the arrest, officers found a number of pieces of evidence.

"1 crowbar, 2 cut pliers, 1 flip-flops, 7 screwdrivers, 3 gloves, 2 black and gray caps, 1 backpack/black carrier, 1 flashlight, 1 white mask, 1 cutter, 1 broken lock and small L key," he explained.

The current perpetrators and evidence have been brought to the Tanjung Priok Police, for further action.

Nazirwan said that the perpetrators of this theft had committed several acts. It was recorded that from March 11 to 18, 2023, the perpetrators had acted three times.

"Saturday morning, March 11, 2023, at around 05.00 WIB. March 16 and March 18," he concluded.
