Police: Yusuke Yamazaki In Jakarta, Use Samaran Name

JAKARTA - The National Police said that a fugitive from the Japanese police, Yusuke Yamazaki, was detected in Jakarta. In fact, he is called a pseudonym.

"It is indicated that he lives in several apartments in the Jakarta area," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Monday, March 20.

This Japanese foreign citizen (WNA) did not use his real name when he was in Indonesia. However, he used a pseudonym so that his whereabouts were unknown.

"Regarding the fugitive Japanese citizen on behalf of Yusuke, currently it has been detected using a pseudonym in the name of Fukuda," he said.

In addition, the National Police have also coordinated with the Directorate General of Immigration, the results of which are known to have a guarantor figure. So, soon Yusuke can be secured.

"It was found that there was an Indonesian citizen named E who was the guarantor concerned," said Ramadhan.

From the information gathered, Yusuke Yamazaki is the former president of Nishiyama Farm, a tourism livestock management company in Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture.

Nishiyama Farm reportedly developed a deposit-taking business for agricultural products. But actually it's not a business but a group of alleged fraudsters.

They deceived people from cash under the guise of deposits and five other members were arrested and tried. Two of them were punished and the rest were tried. Yamazaki is the only one left and he is the head of the fraud group.
