JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono opened his voice over the appointment of former President Director of PT Transjakarta, Kuncoro Wibowo, to suspect in alleged social assistance corruption.

Kuncoro was appointed Director of Transjakarta by Heru Budi through the decision of shareholders outside the GMS which was signed as of January 11, 2023.

Heru did not want to respond to the suspect's status Kuncoro. What is clear, he said, is that now Kuncoro's position has been filled by Plt. Transjakarta President Director Mohamad Indrayana who is the Technical and Digital Director of PT Transjakarta.

"Right, (the position of the Director of Transjakarta) has been replaced with the Acting Director of Engineering. Later we will choose (the new president director)," said Heru in the National Monument area, Thursday, March 16.

Heru also explained the reason for appointing Kuncoro as the boss of Transjakarta. What Heru knows is that Kuncoro has a work experience that is in contact with transportation, namely when he was the Commercial Director and Information Technology of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) from September 2016 to August 2017.

"He (Kunkoro) has experience in transportation, right," he said.

As is known, Kuncoro resigned from the position of Director of Transjakarat as of March 13. After resigning from his position, it was revealed that Kuncoro had been prevented from leaving the country since February.

Kemudian, terungkap Kuncoro kini jadi tersangka kasus korupsi bantuan sosial (bansos) beras untuk Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos). Mantan Direktur Utama PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR) itu dijerat bersama lima orang lainnya.

"Yes, there are also other parties," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri when confirmed by reporters.

It was not specified who Ali was referring to. The KPK will only announce the suspects and their actions when the detention efforts are carried out after the evidence is deemed sufficient.

"When we consider this investigation to have been sufficient to collect the evidence, the identities of the parties designated as suspects, the chronology of alleged criminal acts as well as articles that we suspect will be conveyed to the public," he said.
