JAKARTA - The Tanah Abang Metro Police, Central Jakarta received a report from Nurika, a student who claimed to have been deceived by a Blackpink concert ticket broker, Wednesday, March 15. Nurika and a friend named Gita also became victims of fraud starting from a social media account.

Nurika and Gita experienced the fraud on Sunday, March 12, the second day of the Blackpink concert at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Central Jakarta. The loss suffered by Nurika and her friend was IDR 5 million.

In a written report, initially the victim came to GBK to buy a ticket to someone outside the official committee of the event. Then the victim looked for a ticket via his Twitter account and found the @ZPOUSYSGHD0 account which later changed its name to @YOURNEEDMEALL.

The perpetrator offered a ticket to the Blackpink concert. The victim and the perpetrator then exchanged cellphone contact numbers and appointments to meet at the Jalan Stadiun Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK) ring area, Gelora Village, Tanah Abang District.

Then the victim met the perpetrator who claimed to be Samuel. The perpetrator then gave a ticket and the victim transferred Rp5 million to the perpetrator's account number.

After the victim wanted to watch the concert and entered the area, it turned out that the ticket was fake. Feeling cheated by brokers, the victim reported.

Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief Kompol Patar Mula Bona has not responded when confirmed by VOI via WhatsApp.
