JAKARTA - The younger brother of the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny G Plate, Gregorius Alex Plate (GAP) has returned Rp534 million in cash. The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said the money was funds originating from the Bakti Kominfo budget. "What is clear is that the funds are from Bakti (Kominfo, ed)," said the Director of Investigations of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Kuntadi to reporters, Wednesday, March 15. However, regarding the allocation of the money given or the reasons behind the receipt of the hundreds of millions of money is still being investigated. So far, it is only known that the younger brother of the NasDem politician has no work relationship with Bakti Kominfo. So, regarding this matter, it will be investigated again. Especially during the case process which will be carried out in the near future. "Whether it is related to this project or not, what we know is taken from the Bakti (Kominfo) budget," said Kuntadi. Previously, it was reported that the AGO previously revealed that the younger brother of the Minister of Communication and Information, Gregorius Alex Plate (GAP), returned the facilities received in the form of Rp534 million. The money is a facility received by GAP related to the procurement of 4G BTS towers and supporting infrastructure 2.3.4 and 5 BAKTI Kominfo. "What is clear is that until now the facilities he (Gregorious Alex Plate) received have been returned Rp534 million," said Kuntadi. Kuntadi said GAP voluntarily handed over the money to investigators. According to Kuntadi, regarding the facilities received by Gregorius Alex Plate, it will be one of the examinations that will be asked during the Plate examination.
