Motives For Stabbing Students Killed In Bogor, Triggered By Inter-school Revenge

BOGOR - The motive for the stabbing that killed AS (15), a student at SMK Bina Warga 1, Bogor City, West Java, last Friday, is said to be related to conflicts between schools.

Head of Bogor City Police, Senior Commissioner Bismo Teguh Prakoso, said that the problem between the victim's school and the perpetrator's school had been going on for a long time.

The conflict peaked after the perpetrators received messages containing challenges sent via Instagram.

Bismo said the perpetrators were provoked, they then went to the victim's school to find the person who sent the message.

"Initially there was a challenge via Instagram sent by A from the same school as the victim. The perpetrator was provoked and then responded to the challenge by visiting the school," said Bismo, Wednesday, March 15.

Bismo revealed, because he could not find the person who sent the challenge message, the perpetrators then vented it by randomly stabbing.

Unfortunately, at that time the victim, who was walking around the red light area of Simpang Pomad and his friends, was immediately approached by three perpetrators while riding a motorcycle.

On the motorbike that was still driving, one of the perpetrators immediately slashed the victim's neck with a sharp weapon of a machete or a machete.

The victim had walked a few meters before finally falling. So the victim died and hit the neck. Then there was an ambulance passing by and taken to the hospital," he explained.

In this case, the police have arrested two of the three perpetrators, namely MA (17) and SA (18). Both were arrested in two different locations.

Meanwhile, another person is still being chased, namely ASR (17), the main perpetrator who slashed the victim.
