Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing Transjakarta Bus In Cawang

JAKARTA - A motorcyclist with the initials HB (47) crashed into the back of a Transjakarta bus in front of the Cawang Sutoyo Bus Stop, Jalan Mayjend Sutoyo, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Tuesday, March 14. The accident was caught on amateur video and went viral on social media.

The victim was limp and helpless on top of his vehicle after hitting a Transjakarta bus. The victim hit allegedly because he was sleepy.

As a result of the incident, HB was injured and his motorbike was badly damaged. The incident occurred when the victim was traveling from north to south. Suddenly at high speed, the victim hit a Transjakarta bus because he was suspected of being sleepy.

At the time of the incident, the Transjakarta bus stopped at the bus stop to transport passengers. The victim suffered injuries to the head and lip, so the victim was rushed to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

East Jakarta Satwil Traffic Head AKBP Edy Surasa said the accident involving the Transjakarta bus was handled directly by the Polda Metro Jaya.

"If the accident involving the Transjakarta bus is handled by the Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya. If the busway is automatically taken, the Gakkum Polda (case of the case) will automatically be taken," said AKBP Edy when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, March 12.
