Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of the West Lampung Regency Government, Lampung, Padang Priyo Utomo said the number of refugees due to floods and landslides in his area was 255 families (KK). "From the results of BPBD data collection, as many as 255 families were displaced," said Padang Priyo Utomo when confirmed in West Lampung as reported by Antara, Monday, March 13. He said, from the results of emergency response operations for floods and landslides that occurred in West Lampung, there were 24 evacuation points. "For 24 points where the refugees are located, namely in Pagar Dewa District, which comes from six stakeholders," he said. Padang said, while the number of families in the six stakeholders affected was 741 families. He conveyed that after the natural disaster, the joint team also immediately made refugee camps or safe gathering points and public kitchens to meet the basic needs of displaced communities. In addition, he said, his party had divided the team to open the connecting road between stakeholders which had been cut off due to floods and landslides. "The joint team has also evacuated the people who had been isolated because until the second day yesterday, of the six affected stakeholders, there were three stakeholders who had been isolated because access to the three stakeholders had been completely cut off, namely the stakeholders 7, 8 and 9," he said. He said the traffic of people and goods using two-wheeled vehicles, as well as three, had been smooth and the emergency bridge connecting the stakeholders 6-7 7-8 and the stakeholders 8-9 had been completed. Meanwhile, the joint teams involved in humanitarian operations include BPBD, Social Service, Satpol-PP Damkar, Sub-district Government to Pekon Sidomulyo Government, elements of the West Lampung Police, supported by BKO Brimob Lampung Police personnel, elements TNI Makodim 0422/LB, as well as a number of volunteers from PCNU, Scouts and the general public.
