Great Explosion That Killed One Resident In Malang Allegedly Coming From Firecrackers

One person died as a result of an explosion that allegedly came from the raw material for making firecrackers in Pulosari Hamlet, Sukosari Village, Kasembon District, Malang Regency, East Java, Saturday, March 11.

Kesembon Police Chief AKP Guguk Windu Hadi said one person was confirmed dead due to an explosion that allegedly came from raw materials for making firecrackers.

"It's true, one person died," Windu said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 12.

Windu explained, as a result of the explosion, which allegedly came from the raw material for the firecrackers, one person died and a number of people were injured and had to be treated to a nearby hospital.

Currently, he said, officers are still collecting data at the crime scene in Pulosari Hamlet.

"Other victims are still collecting data," he said.

The explosion, he said, damaged a number of houses in RT7 RW 11.

"Three houses were damaged," he said.

He added that currently Batu Police officers are still carrying out the identification process of the crime scene to find out the cause of the explosion that occurred at around 18.30 WIB.

"Currently, we are still waiting for the identification process of the Batu Police," he said.
