But on the other hand, the new fertilizer industry factories produce 3.5 million tons per year, plus the production of the NPK fertilizer factory built by Pupuk Iskandar Muda is 570 thousand tons per year. National fertilizer needs are still met by imports of 6.3 million tons. "Indeed, we still lack fertilizer, this is what we will try to do soon," said the President. The Head of State explained that the fertilizer supply countries, namely Russia and Ukraine, have not been conducive due to war, so the issue of distribution and availability of fertilizers is not only experienced by Indonesia. "The place of raw materials and the production of fertilizer is just war, namely Russia and Ukraine. This is a problem faced by all countries in the world," he said.
