The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found important evidence from electronic devices suspected of being related to the bribery and gratification case that ensnared the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This finding was obtained while searching a house in the Depok area on Tuesday, March 7 yesterday.

"It was found and secured in the form of electronic devices," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Wednesday, March 8.

Ali said that this electronic device will be analyzed. It is suspected that the findings can shed light on the direct practice carried out by Lukas.

"Analysis and confiscation will still be carried out to complete the investigation case file," he said.

Previously reported, Lukas became a suspect in alleged bribery and gratification for allegedly receiving money from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijatono Lakka. The gift was made so that the private company received a project in Papua.

The KPK said that there was an agreement fee of 14 percent of the contract value and payments must be free from tax deductions.

After agreeing, the company Rijatono got three projects. The first is the improvement of the Entro-Hamadi Road with a project value of IDR 14.8 billion.

Rehabilitation of facilities and infrastructure supporting PAUD Integration with a project value of Rp. 13.3 billion. Finally, the venue environmental arrangement project developed outdoor AURI with a project value of Rp. 12.9 billion.

After the project was won, Rijatono handed over Rp1 billion to Lukas. In addition, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to tens of billions that have just been investigated by the KPK.

Apart from Lukas, the KPK suspects that there are officials who participate in accepting bribes and gratuities. However, investigators are still investigating.
