Moeldoko Hopes Religious Activities Are Not Politically Strengthened

Presidential Chief of Staff Dr Moeldoko hopes that the dhikr assemblies will remain solemn as part of religious activities in society, without having burdensome political charges. Moeldoko conveyed this, at the Haul Akbar event of the Al Khidmah Dhikr Council, at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Sunday, March 5.

"Like the Al Khidmah dhikr house. Although it was attended by political mass organizations and state officials, the activities took place without political charges," said Moeldoko.

Moeldoko said that the existence of dhikr assemblies is very important to strengthen Indonesian unity which has a diversity of ethnicity, customs, culture, language, and religion.

"Because a panel like this is inclusive and open to anyone who wants to travel closer to Allah SWT, without distinguishing outer clothes and skin," he said.

On that occasion, the 2013-2015 TNI Commander also asked all congregants to constantly pray for the nation and state to be able to overcome various global challenges and threats well.

Global curvature is currently facing a food, energy and financial crisis. For that I ask for prayers so that Indonesia is under the leadership of President Jokowi and Vice President KH. Ma'ruf Amien can overcome these challenges without any obstacles," concluded Moeldoko.

For information, the Haul Akbar event of the Al Khidmah Dhikr Council at the Istiqlal Mosque, was attended by habaib, kyai, alim ulama, and was attended by more than two thousand worshipers from various cities in Indonesia.

The Dhikr Al Khimah Council itself was founded by KH. Ahmad Asrori Al Ishaqi on December 25, 2005, and centered at the Al Fitrah Kewall Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya.
