The DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed 52 fire engines and about 250 personnel to assist the extinguishing process at the location.
As a result of the incident, 16 people died and 38 people suffered burns and are currently being treated by the medical team at the hospital.
