Septic Tanks That Explode In Residents' Houses Are Used For 3 Contracts At The Same Time

East Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief AKBP Ahmad Fanani Prasetyo said that the explosion of fire extinguishers (WC) in one of the houses of residents of Sumur Village RT 10/RW 10 Klender Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta was caused by the absence of air circulation in the septic tank.

Fanani explained, after the victim's house was processed at the crime scene (TKP), it was discovered that the septic tank was used for three rented houses adjacent to the victim's house.

"One'septic tank' is used by three rented plots," said Fanani, Friday, March 3.

In addition, he said, based on witness testimony at the location, Eli's victim was found to be starting a stove lighter in the kitchen before the toilet exploded. "The witness received information from the victim that the explosion occurred when the victim started a stove lighter and suddenly an explosion occurred from the bathroom toilet," he explained. The victim's husband, Kusdoyo (57) admitted that he had taken his wife to the Regional Special Hospital (RSKD) Duren Sawit to undergo treatment due to burns.

He said his wife suffered burns to her legs, hands, and body, so she had to be rushed to the hospital.

"The burns were around 50 percent," he said. As a result of the explosion, the toilet squatting his house was lifted from the ground floor, a number of ceilings were damaged, and the bathroom floor was cracked lightly. "Just like a bomb, (the sound) is that stupid. Ceiling damage, floor," he said.
