Heru Budi Proud Of The Slogan 'Jakarta For Indonesia' Made By Anies For The Interest Of The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono seemed to be proud of the slogan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which he initiated on the sidelines of his work activities. The slogan reads: "Jakarta Success for Indonesia"

Recently, Heru's slogan in leading Jakarta was brought up again because Anies Baswedan used it as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Anies admitted that he would bring this slogan during the campaign later.

Heru's pride in Anies' slogan was seen when he served the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government to echo it during tree planting activities at Censorship Park, West Jakarta.

Heru also revealed that the DKI Provincial Government's programs in the last three months aimed at making Jakarta a success, in line with the slogan. One of them is the massive creation of green routes in Jakarta. In this case, the DKI Provincial Government is assisted by the ranks of the DKI Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

"So, what is 'Jakarta Success' in 3 months? One of them is us, we are with the ranks, the temausk is also Forkopimda, Pak Kapolda, Pangdam, Pak Kajati, Pak Kajari, Pak Kapolres, Pak Damdim, can add to the construction of 238 park locations," said Heru, at Censorship Park, West Jakarta, Tuesday, February 28.

Another program that is in line with the slogan "Jakarta Success for Indonesia" is the acceleration of the construction of the Ciliwung Sodetan and the normalization of the Ciliwung River.

Since several years ago, the work on the two programs has stalled. While in office, Heru immediately coordinated with a number of ministries and institutions so that the flood control project could be continued.

"Before 3 months the dose has been completed. Next, we will carry out normalization. Who is Jakarta's success for? For Indonesia," said Heru.

Regarding the slogan used by Anies, Heru admitted that he had no problem with it. Heru views that all people, including Anies as the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, are allowed to use the new slogan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which has been pinned since several months ago.

"If residents of Jakarta, the people of Indonesia, my citizens use this, it's okay. Go ahead, 'Jakarta Success for Indonesia," he added.

As previously reported, Anies Baswedan said he would bring a new tagline or slogan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) "Jakarta Success for Indonesia" as a presidential candidate (candidate) promoted by the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed when he gave a speech at the 2024 PKS Winning Alert Call at the Madya Stadium, Bung Karno Gelora Complex (GBK), Jakarta, Sunday, February 26.

"Now is the time for us to step to the next level, such as the tagline of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which has only been used for a few months, the tagline reads 'Jakarta Success for Indonesia'. We will bring this tagline now," said Anies, Sunday, February 26.

Anies said that the principles of approach and development policies, as well as the management of the government he has implemented in Jakarta so far, can be an illustration or benchmark for what he will do in the future.

"Therefore, we often ask if we want to see what someone will do in the future, look at his track record because his track record is the best predictor for the future," he explained.
