KENDARI - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a high wave warning for the waters of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra). The high waves reached 4 meters.

The Coordinator of Observation and Information at the BMKG Kendari Maritime Meteorological Station, Faizal Habibie, said the potential for normal waves as high as 1.25 meters to 2.0 meters could occur in the southern part of Baubau Waters.

Faizal Habibie added that early warning against the weather that occurred on March 1, 2023, could potentially experience moderate and heavy rain which could be accompanied by lightning and strong winds at 06.10 WITA in Kolaka and Bombana Regencies.

"It can also spread to the Kolaka Regency, especially the Pomalaa sub-district and its surroundings," said Faizal.
