MUKOMUKO - Mukomuko Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas), Bengkulu destroyed as many as 406 noisy exhaust units or brong which were evidence of traffic crimes.

"Today the Polres Satlantas carried out the destruction of noisy exhausts which are evidence of traffic crimes," said Mukomuko Police Chief AKBP Nuswanto while chairing a press conference in Mukomuko, Monday.

He said, the Mukomuko Resort Police Satlantas in addition to confiscating as many as 406 units of noisy exhausts and vehicles using Brong exhaust as many as 53 units of vehicles. Mukomuko, during the last few months. from as many as 406 units of noisy exhausts, he said, the average exhaust had been destroyed by the owner during the inspection, then the others were destroyed today. He added, this activity will continue to provide a deterrent effect by using manual tickets and deploying personnel from the Mukomuko Police Traffic Unit to continue patrolling every day.

The Mukomuko Police Traffic Unit conducts routine inspections and patrols in addition to controlling the use of noisy exhausts and preventing illegal racing in the Mukomuko Regency area.

Furthermore, he appealed to the public to orderly traffic, especially those using exhaust tracing, to replace the exhaust.

In addition, he also appealed to the public, especially young people, not to do illegal racing on the highway because apart from being dangerous, illegal racing is very disturbing to other vehicle users.
