JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 17,039 specimens were examined with the results of 182 people who were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,735,451 people," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Saturday, February 25.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 167 cases, bringing the total to 6,570,963 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died 3 and a total of 160,905 people.

Still referring to data from the Ministry of Health, the province with the highest new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 78 cases. So the total reached 1,541,754 cases.

Followed by West Java with 40 new cases. Then, Banten with 24 cases and East Java with the addition of 15 cases per day.

Then, for the province with the most recovered cases, namely DKI Jakarta with 94 cases. Then, Yogyakarta with 19 cases.

On the other hand, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens to date has reached 115,336,990.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people for today is 1.40 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 900 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 203,807,096 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,828,131 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 69,963,557 people. Then, around 2,638,062 people have received the fourth dose. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
