"Therefore, the family, especially parents, has a very important role in preparing their children to grow into superior and competitive human resources," said Plt. Deputy for Coordination of Quality Improvement for Children, Women and Youth at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Didik Suhardi was quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 24. Didik Suhardi explained, parents must provide assistance and exemplary so that their children can become positive and noble characters. "Thus, it is hoped that these children will live a good life in the future and have a positive character," he said.

Good preparation for the next generation who will become the nation's future leader, he said, is very important, especially in order to welcome the demographic bonus and Indonesia's gold 2045, he added. "For this reason, a healthy parenting pattern is needed, from birth to school. Good parenting will make children's growth and development optimal, both physically and psychologically," he said. The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, he said, emphasized four important aspects that parents need to pay attention to in educating and carrying out parenting.

According to him, children's education must include four characters, namely performance character, relational character, moral character, and religious character. "In addition to needing to send their children to school, parents must also ensure that care at home and in the surrounding environment goes well, and ensure that children's education includes the four characters," said Didik Suhardi.
