Former KPK Investigator Advises Sri Mulyani's Subordinates Reject Rafael Alun Trisambodo To Withdraw From ASN Directorate General Of Taxes

JAKARTA - Former investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudi Purnomo Harahap suggested that the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reject the submission of Rafael Alun Trisambodo to resign from the status of the state civil apparatus (ASN) of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) until the internal investigation and law enforcement is completed.

Since Mario Dandy Satriyo his son has been seen showing off his wealth and molesting David, Rafael has had a fat account and allegations of unnatural assets. According to Yudi, Rafael's resignation from ASN could be an obstacle in the investigation.

"My advice is not to accept his resignation, Mas @prastow because it can be used as an excuse for the general not being able to investigate it because it is no longer an ASN," said Yudi while mentioning the Special Staff of the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Yustinus Prastowo via his Twitter account, @yudiharahap46, Friday 24 February.

Yudi believes that the code-checking agency and law enforcement can investigate the allegations alleged against Rafael. However, he continued, it would be easier to comb through allegations of criminal offenses if the status of ASN was not removed.

"Although law enforcers may still investigate because of the tempus delicti when they were ASN, in my opinion the first door of investigation is still the inspectorate," said Yudi.

Meanwhile, Rafael Alun Trisambodo in his open letter decided to resign as an ASN on the same day when Finance Minister Sri Mulyani removed him from the position of Head of the General Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the South Jakarta Regional Office II on Friday, February 24.

Rafael is the father of Mario Dandy Satriyo who abused the victim named David, son of GP Ansor Central Management (PP) Jonathan Latumahina.

David has been in intensive care for five days unconscious since being mistreated by Mario. Pascapenganiayaan, circulated viral videos of Mario often showing off his wealth and rides from cars to expensive motorbikes. Rafael's father was finally found to be inundated by allegedly unnatural assets.

The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) which conducted the investigation said that Rafael's nominal suspicious fund flow was quite large.

The flow of funds was suspected because it was deemed not in accordance with the salaries and benefits obtained when sitting in the official position of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance, Regional Office of South Jakarta II.

Meanwhile, the KPK has stated that it does not hesitate to take action if it is proven that there are allegations of corruption.

Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, said that if Rafael found a criminal act from the clarification of Rafael's State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), his party would not hesitate to investigate.

"We are waiting for the results of the clarification and examination of the LHKPN Directorate if there are indications of a criminal act, of course, it will be continued in investigative steps," Nawawi told reporters, Friday, February 24.
