JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that currently the Sunter Hulu Monitoring Post is on standby 2 as of 15.00 WIB today. The water level (TMA) at the Sunter Hulu Water Gate increased from 13.00 WIB which is still on standby status 4. This is due to the rain that has flushed Jakarta since last night. "The TMA at the Sunter Hulu Monitoring Post at 13.00 WIB is 100 centimeters or standby 4 (normal). At 15.00 WIB, the TMA at the Sunter Hulu Monitoring Post is on standby 2 (standby)," wrote the statement from the DKI Jakarta BPBD, Friday, February 24. BPBD DKI said there are 21 urban villages in North Jakarta and East Jakarta that have the potential to be affected by flooding from the increase in TMA at the Upper Sunter Monitoring Post. Among them are Bambu Apus, Cilangkap, Pondok Ranggon, Setu, Lubang Buaya, Pondok Bambu, Pondok Kelapa, Cipinang. Then, Cipinang Melayu, Cipinang Muara, Duren Sawit, Jatinegara Kaum, Kayu Putih, Pulo Gadung, Sumur Batu, West Kelapa Gading, East Kelapa Gading, Kebon Bawang, Rawa Badak Selatan, Rawa Badak Utara, and Sungai Bambu. "Anticipate about the next four hours (from 15.00 WIB), the water will arrive at Pulo Gadung Water Gate. There are 21 areas that the river flow passes through," wrote BPBD. Meanwhile, a number of floodgates in Jakarta are on alert 2 (alert) this afternoon. These include Manggarai Water Gate with TMA 780 cm, Karet with TMA 490 cm, Angke Hulu with TMA 210 cm, and Fish Market with TMA 186 cm. Meanwhile, as of 11.00 WIB this afternoon, as many as 21 RTs in Jakarta were flooded. The 21 RTs are spread across Cakung Timur, Cililitan, Cawang, Kampung Melayu, Bidara Cina, Marunda, Tegal Alur, Kamal, Kembangan Selatan, Joglo, Rawa Buaya, Duri Kosambi, Petogongan, and Kuningan Barat.
