Victims Of Child Treatment Of Ministry Of Finance Officials Will Get Assistance From The Ministry Of PPPA

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) will provide assistance to D (17), a victim of abuse by the son of a Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu)

"We have coordinated with the DKI Jakarta Team and the South Jakarta Police for the assistance of victims," said Deputy for Special Protection for Children at the Ministry of PPPA Nahar when contacted on Thursday, February 23, when contacted by Antara.

He said, until now the victim is still being treated intensively at the hospital.

"(The victim, ed.) is still in intensive care in the ICU room," he said.

Previously, the South Jakarta Metro Police arrested a man with the initials MD for allegedly molesting another man with the initials D in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.

"The suspect MD has been detained and the victim is still unable to be questioned because he is still being treated at the hospital," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi.

For his actions, the suspect MDS is suspected of Article 76c in conjunction with Article 80 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a maximum penalty of five years of subsidiary and Article 351 paragraph 2 concerning Heavy maltreatment with a maximum penalty of five years.
