Ahead Of Ramadan, Soetta Klaim Airport Ready To Face 90 Percent Of Passenger Jumps

TANGERANG - PT Angkasa Pura II as the manager of Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangrtang City, has begun to make preparations, in order to reduce the transportation of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr 2023.

"We have prepared a connection with operations and facilities at the airport," said Senior Manager of Brand Communication and Legal Angkasa Pura II Soetta Airport, M Holik Muardi, Wednesday, February 22.

Holik said there are three aspects that will be improved at Soekarno Hatta Airport, namely aspects of airport personnel, airport operations and flight information systems and passenger movements through internal applications.

"We are also ready in terms of management in case of a significant increase in passengers during the Eid transportation period," he said.

AP II preparation in facing the Eid transportation period is still the same as the previous year, where there are three aspects of arrangements, namely airport personnel, airport operations and flight information systems and passenger movements through internal applications.

"And it is located at Terminal 1 D of Soetta Airport, we are also managemently ready in case of a significant increase in passengers during the Eid transportation period," he said.

"And in terms of infrastructure we are also ready, we just have to wait for the future for passenger traffic by conducting further evaluations and study," he continued.

"Then, for now, which is usually crowded during the Eid homecoming period, especially domestically, we have prepared human resources infrastructure, as anticipating an increase in passengers," he said.

On the occasion, Holik said that if you look at 2022, there is usually a 90 percent increase in traffic for domestic passengers. Meanwhile, internationally is still below 50 percent.

"For now, which is usually crowded during the Eid homecoming period, especially domestically, we have prepared human resources infrastructure, as anticipating an increase in passengers," he concluded.
