DLH Allocates IDR 1.8 Billion For The Salaries Of West Lampung Cleaners 2023

LAMPUNG - The Environmental Service (DLH) of the West Lampung Regency Government (Pemkab) said it only received a budget allocation of IDR 1.8 billion for 2023.

Head of the DLH Cleanliness Division of West Lampung Regency, Ardiansyah Fikri, said that the budget was minimal so that his party could only be allocated for the salaries of the cleaning staff.

In addition to cleaning staff salaries, the rest of the budget will later be used for operational and other administration costs.

"The cleaning system is IDR 900 thousand per month, we have 129 cleaners, if multiplied by approximately IDR 116 million more, multiplied by the number of months to around IDR 1.4 billion", he said, Wednesday, February 22, quoted by Antara.

He said the rest would be diverted to operational costs such as administrative costs, and the needs of other fleets.

Then, he continued, the 129 cleaners are cleaners who are still active in overcoming the waste problem in West Lampung.

"The amount, already consists of truck drivers, bentor drivers, road sweepers, and garbage carriers to dump trucks," he said.

It is known that the West Lampung DLH has routinely conducted outreach to the public regarding the waste problem in West Lampung.
