National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Will Fly To Jambi Monitoring For The Evacuation Of The Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono

JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is scheduled to fly to Jambi to directly monitor the evacuation process of the Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono and seven other victims.

The Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Kombes Mulia Prianto, said that based on information from the National Police's Spripim, the National Police Chief would arrive in Jambi at around 14.00 WIB.

In addition, he also informed that the wife of the Jambi Police Chief is currently at the Victim Evacuation Post in Merangin Regency.

The evacuation of the Jambi Police Chief and his entourage is scheduled to start at 06.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the evacuation of victims of the helicopter crash was temporarily halted tonight given the unfavorable weather conditions.

The evacuation was resumed Tuesday morning (21/2) using a Super Puma helicopter from the Indonesian Air Force and a Basarnas helicopter.

Currently, the Air Force SAR Team has met with the Jambi Police Chief and other victims. The Jambi Police Chief and other victims have received treatment from a team of doctors.

The evacuation team has also set up emergency tents for the victims so that it doesn't rain at night.

As of 17.30 WIB, the evacuation process for the Jambi Police Chief and his entourage was temporarily suspended because the weather was not favorable. If at 20.00 WIB the weather has not yet supported, then the evacuation will continue on Tuesday (21/2).

The National Police helicopter carried out an emergency landing carrying eight passengers consisting of the Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Rusdi Hartono, Dirreskrimum Kombes Pol. Andri Ananta, Dirpolairud Polda Jambi, Kombes Pol. Muchael Bumbunan, Corpspripim Polda Kompol A Yani Jambi and an ADC Jambi Police Chief, as well as three AKP Ali helicopter crews, AKP Amos F, Aipda Susilo.
